Proposed Chicago College of Veterinary Medicine Builds Ties Through Hands-On Dental Lab

Veterinarians take part in a dental wet lab hosted by the proposed Chicago College of Veterinary Medicine in MWU鈥檚 dental simulation lab.

Even before welcoming its first class of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students, the proposed Chicago College of Veterinary Medicine (CCVM) at 羞羞视频 is connecting with the regional veterinary community. The College recently teamed up with the (CVMA) to cohost a dental wet lab for practicing veterinarians.

Participants traveled from as far as Iowa to take part in the hands-on session, which was led by Stephen Juriga,  D.V.M., Dipl. AVDC, AVDC-ZWD,  and Muhammad Jawad Ul Hassan, D.V.M., a veterinary dental resident, both from the in Aurora, Illinois. A dental technician, Fernanda Maga帽a, also assisted with the training.

The event took place in 羞羞视频鈥檚 state-of-the-art dental simulation lab on its Downers Grove Campus, where attendees practiced dental procedures on models and refined their dental radiology techniques.

Patterson, D.V.M., DACVIM-SA, PG Cert Vet Med Ed, Dean of the proposed College. 鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to support local veterinarians and ultimately enhance care for their patients and clients in the years ahead.鈥
