CHS, CGS students interact with senior patients at CASS shelters to offer healing through art

Recently, representatives from the Glendale Campus appeared on Arizona's local NBC affiliate to discuss an ongoing outreach program involving MWU students from the College of Health Science and the College of Graduate Studies interacting with senior residents of The Haven, a homeless shelter in the Central Arizona Shelter System (CASS). The students interact with the residents using art therapy - which provides both a therapeutic and creative outlet for the residents.
